About the February 2015 Cover
Freshwater anglers, and particular trophy bass anglers look forward to the month of February. It singles the start of times of change.
Big sow bass have laid in deep waters around structure during the winter months, but as the days lengthen and slowly start to warm some internal clock urges them to feed more often and make a move toward more shallow water. Many times when one big bass is found, another is nearby.
Dallen Lambson’s “Dinner for Two?” captures such a scene as two large bass are on the move and have been attracted to the same Texas rigged soft plastic. The activity begins to increase and will build to a peak over the next few months.
