Popular wildlife and sporting artist Dallen Lambson has painted this month’s Cover Art that represents multiple largemouth bass philosophies.  First it’s displayed on the from of the March issue that coincides with the peak of bass spawning in Texas.

Second the sow bass is utilizing Lunker Hunter as a bedding and ambush site.  The sunken wooden skiff provides the “three sides of cover” bass look for to bed.  Besides protection this location also offers a superb ambush site to attack its next meal.  And finally, the very name of the craft indicates a Lunker Hunter once, and may still fish these waters.
