Calling All Cats
Some tips for cat fishermen of all kinds.

Of all the sport fish finning around in Texas lakes, rivers, and streams, none are more widely distributed than ol’ whiskers. The channel cat is the most abundant of the three sub-species found in Lone Star waters, followed by blue cat and flatheads.
One of the most attractive things about fishing for catfish is they are usually pretty cooperative. Even when the fish aren’t in the mood to munch, you can sometimes ignite a feeding frenzy by tossing them a little chum to tease their hypersensitive olfactory glands and tempt their taste buds.
