A new spring recalls recent hunts for longbeards while the next generation of Zaiglins may try to harvest their first gobbler.

Easter for most folks is centered on the Easter Bunny, but for the Zaiglin family, it is all about turkey and turkey hunting.
Our eighth annual family Easter turkey hunt started on the afternoon of the 28th of March when my wife Jan, younger daughter Nan, and my six-year-old granddaughter McKenzie traveled 120 miles south to our favorite piece of turkey real estate on the Nueces Strip.
