BLM rescinds permit for Idaho predator contest

Faced with pending litigation from anti-hunting and environmental groups, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has rescinded a permit for a hunting organization to include public land that it manages in a predator-killing contest near Salmon, Idaho in January. The contest remains scheduled and will take place on other U.S. forest Service and private land as it did last year. Idaho Mountain Express and Center for Biological Diversity.
