MG Arms Expands Facility
MG Arms is proud to announce that they have expanded their machining capacity and current working facility by 2500 square feet. With the addition of so many new products and services in the last few years, MG Arms out grew its current facility long ago. Kerry O’Day the owner of MG Arms said “we had been putting people, parts, and equipment in every square inch of space we had and always needed more room. When I bought a custom machine shop last year, we were able to use their facility until the new building addition was complete to have all the equipment under one roof. The new additions will more than double our existing work area and allow us to have all of the CNC machines in one space with one operator in charge of them.”
MG Arms has also added a new shooting room to test fire guns in and a new building for the complete manufacture of their fiberglass stocks. They have doubled the size of their Finish Department by adding a larger Teflon and Ceramic coating work area, as well as, a third Industrial Oven. The Bluing and Parkerizing area has doubled in size also.
O’Day states, “We are hoping to improve our delivery time and increase our capacity in order to better serve our existing customers, as well as, our new customers. The only thing about the new facility is there is no extra room for new hunting trophies; I guess that will have to come later.”
